Whilst in some countries, particularly in Asia, pale skin is considered iconic, in most Western cultures, people want a tan. Exposed to images of bronzed and accessorized starlets, we associate a tan with glamour. The suggestion of leisure and exotic destinations, and effortless beauty, is what we want. Wanting to look attractive we try to copy that nearly perfect skin complexion and tone. And many of us are prepared to invest the time and effort to create the perfect glow in our own skin. And luckily for us, there are a plethora of low cost options to assist us in our quest.
There are a lot of reasons to get a tan. Tans make us look slimmer, and are very flattering. They are a great accessory, and allow us to wear a greater range of colors, better. We seem healthier, and more relaxed, like we just came back from a holiday.
Getting a tan is another matter – unless you’re fortunate to live in the tropics or are an avid gardener who spends hours in the sun. Simply sunbathing gets boring rapidly, and is somewhat unreliable. You can’t control the intensity of the sun, hence we’re more likely to get burned than tanned, unless we’re relatively brown to start with. And it can be difficult to find the time to lie in the sun. Compared to a session in a tanning bed, it can take hours and a lot of peeling to get a attractive tan.
Of course, we can always go to a tanning salon. But that has its’ disadvantages too. For one, you’ve got the traveling time, then you have to find time in your schedule in business hours. And there’s the fact that it wasn’t just your bare and sweaty body lying on that tanning bed. Whilst the antibacterial cleaners are good, there’s nothing like having your own tanning bed for peace of mind.

Residential tanning beds are probably the epitome of convenience when it comes to tanning. They are surprisingly affordable in the long run too. As long as you’re sensible and don’t overdo do it in the excitement of having your own tanning bed available 24/7, you can maintain a great color too. And that’s without having to spend hours lying on the beach. Most tanning beds have facial tanners that you can use to lightly tan your face without exposing it too much. And if you add up how much you would spend at the tanning salon over the average life span of a residential tanning bed, its easy to see how it would pay for itself.

Each day our lives get busier. We are always going from one place to the next for work or with our children. We have the temptation to stop at the closest fast food place rather than waiting to get home and make dinner. It is usually fast, cheap, there are many options to choose, and there can be found on virtually every street corner. Nevertheless, the next time you’re deciding on whether you should pick up something fast, think about how a home-cooked meal would be a better option for your family.
Fast food chains, in addition to other restaurant chains, become popular by offering the same or similar dishes at all their restaurants. That way no matter where you are or what location you go to eat, they will have your favorite dish. By doing this, they can keep customers coming back and you get what you want to eat.
A very big issue with these chains is the process they take to offer the same product at every restaurant. They accomplish this by mass producing food in. To help keep the food fresh and to make all of the food look and taste the same, the food is filled it with preservatives, coloring, and flavoring. The food is then frozen, sometimes for long periods of time.
The companies that produce fast food have intended it to be just that – fast. It’s also made to taste decent enough to get the person eating hooked and keep them coming back. Unsurprisingly, when the focus of the fast food chains are on speed and taste, the customer’s health is a low priority. Many fast food options are low in fiber and high in fat, calories, sugar, and salt.
In recent years lawsuits have caused fast food chains to offer more nourishing options, they are in general more costly and in spite of everything not incredibly healthy. For instance, while a salad may appear like an excellent choice, various salads at chain restaurants use cheese, bacon, high-fat dressing, croutons, and other unhealthy ingredients.
Bear in mind that just because you prepare a meal at home does not mean it’s not “fast food”. While prepared boxed or bagged meals are appealing because they are easy, several of them have identical problems as fast food restaurants. These types of foods have just as many preservatives, and can have the same amount of fat and calories, and just as low in nutrition.
If you’re looking for alternatives that you can quickly pull out of the freezer and warm up, why not prepare meals with the kids on the weekend and freeze your pre-cooked meals for later in the week? Additionally you can prepare pre-made lunches and snacks. If are going to use pre-packed food, attempt to use it in moderation and remember to read labels (ingredients lists too, not just fat and calories) to ensure you’re making the healthiest choice. While faster food may be convenient, taking time to make healthy home-made meals is well worth the effort.

If snoring really aggravates your sleeping partner then it may be time for you to consider surgery to prevent snoring. Surgery for some people is a radical method to resolve their snoring dilemma but for a number of people it is the only way to stop. There are quite a few types of surgeries that can be performed but not all of them have the same success and every surgery has its own pros and cons.

Using this procedure to prevent snoring appears to be temporary. Others find that inside two years they have the same old problems once more with snoring.
Laser Procedures
There is a surgery to prevent snoring that uses lasers if you find that the cost of the above procedure seems to be too much for you then. . You will shorten your uvula with this procedure. Lasers are also used to vaporize parts of your soft palate with this surgical procedure.
This procedure uses only local anesthetic compared to the general anesthetic used in the above procedure
This is a recommended procedure if you have already had your tonsils removed. However you should be warned that it is not completely effective. Although their snoring was much better than before, many people who have undergone the procedure reported that their sleeping partners were still not happy with their snoring.
Palate Stiffening
Surgery to prevent snoring that involves stiffening the palate of the mouth is also performed. It is considered quite effective for many people, with a high rate of people finding relief in the long term. Though in the short term more than 90% of people are able to cure their snoring problems using this procedure. If you think that you could benefit from surgery to prevent snoring then you should talk to your doctor about having this procedure done. Although not completely effective it may help to reduce your snoring problems.

How to build the chest muscles
One of the many questions I get asked on my travels is “Can you tell me how to build the chest“?. There is no greater sign of power than a huge chest and the good news is that the chest muscles are one of the easiest muscles to build. In order to build the chest muscles to the maximum you need to incorporate a system of dumbbell chest building exercises and the flat bench. So here are two of the best chest exercises to help you build the chest you desire.
How to build the chest:- Exercise 1 Dumbbell Incline Press
Lay on an incline bench, the angle of which should be around 30 degrees and no greater or else the workload is shifted to the shoulders and off the chest. Start with a pair of weighted dumbells that you can handle. Start with the dumbbells at arm length above the chest then lower slowly in a controlled fashion to a position as low as possible (below the chest) to give that full stretch. Then press the dumbbells back above your chest but do not lock out your arms. Repeat for 8 to 10 reps and 5 sets increasing the weight each tine.
How to build the chest:- Exercise 2 Pre exhaust Fly’s and Flat Bench
This is the combination of exercises that will build you a solid striated chest, do these regularly and you will be astounded by the results. Be careful these are very intense exercises. You will need a flat bench, dumbbells and a barbell.
Start with a pair dumbbells that will enable you to perform 8 reps with maximum effort. Lay on a bench and hold the dumbbells together pressed above your chest. Now lower the dumbbells in an arc as low as possible (below chest level) then press back in the same arc to the starting position, repeat for 8 reps. When the last repetition is finished drop the dumbbells then without rest, press the barbell off the support to full arm extension above your chest. Slowly lower the barbell till it touches nipple level then under control hold for a short one count, breathe out and press back to the starting position. Repeat at least 8 times. The composition of these 2 exercises constitutes 1 set, 3 sets need to be performed.
