If you want to lose belly fat, remember that doing so is the same as losing fat anywhere else on the body.

The notion of preferentially reducing fat in one area of your body (spot reducing) is not very probable. Consider your body fat as a swimming pool with a deep end and a shallow end, as it’s going to take the deep end longer to empty.

The only way to permanently get rid of belly fat is to eat right and employ a proper diet. You are what you ate.

Essentially, processed foods are not good for the body, and that goes double with the amount of sugar and salt contained in them.

By continuing to eat these high calorie and less nutritious foods, you will never lose your belly fat. No matter how much exercise you do. The definition of insanity is to continue doing the same thing and expect a different result. STOP THE INSANITY!

If you consider that our bodies have evolved, over thousands of years, to grow and develop on natural foods, it will start to make sense why all these boxed and processed foods have caused people to get fatter and fatter as they get older and acquire all the other symptoms you can think of that are referred to as age-related diseases.

Consider that your fat stores are your body’s toxic dumping grounds for all the crap it can’t use and that it is on you, dragging you down and holding you back. It’s pretty hard to accumulate belly fat if you have a diet of clean natural food and you don’t consume more than your body can use at one meal.

The body will start showing symptoms after it takes repeated abuse for a long period of time. Like large deposits of belly fat.

The reason that it’s so hard to eat correctly, and lose belly fat, is that we have unconsciously developed bad eating habits. The nutrition of a food is oftentimes overlooked for the taste. In other words people tend to “live to eat” as opposed to “eat to live.” By the way, eating healthy doesn’t have to taste bad and be boring. The road to losing your belly fat is all about changing those things that you are presently doing that got you where you are.

Remember this: It is not possible to out train a bad diet. It is quite easy to down a thousand calories inside for several minutes.

It will take hours or days of work to burn that off, and in the meantime, you will put down another thousand or so calories.

Those kinds of calories are always bad food, calorie dense and nutritionally poor. Food that is high in nutrition is usually low in calories such as fresh vegetables.

So you want to know how to lose belly fat? Here are the basic rules;

1) Every meal needs to consist of lean protein, simple and complex carbohydrates and good fat.

2) Determine your resting metabolic rate, based on your weight (lean mass) and your activity level, then consume 15% – 20% under that caloric requirement.

3) Burn more calories by exercising, preferably exercising to gain more muscle mass, as this will increase your metabolic rate and cause you to burn more calories.

4) Eat 5 – 6 meals per day, about every 3 hours. Following these instructions you should lose about 1.5 lbs – 2 lbs a week of mostly fat. Remember, you want to build muscle and burn fat.

Retraining yourself is a vital part of the process as well as being in control of your habits.

This is all about conquering yourself.

If you try to lose weight (fat) too fast, it is very possible that you will gain it all back.

Training yourself is important and if you leave weight loss to factors that you can’t control, then it will eventually become a problem for you. Using weight loss pills and unhealthy diets is not good.

Training yourself to live your life differently from what you have been doing is the answer, and that takes time. The time is going to pass no matter what, so you might as well do it right and make it permanent.

Why do people become addicted? What is the fundamental mechanism? Of course, this question has been answered to varying degrees and in varying ways. Whether you consider the physical aspects of addiction where changes occur in the brain, or the psychological mechanism that triggers an addiction many theories already exist.

This article is strictly my opinion. It is my personal attempt to understand addiction and I don’t claim to have any scientific backing for my model of addiction. Nor do I seek any. I’m merely trying to understand addiction in terms that make sense to me personally. If this is useful to you in some way, then so much the better.

Addiction can be a powerful force in our lives. I hold that addiction occurs with each of us to varying degrees. Drug and alcohol addictions are the most obvious to us because their destructive effects are very evident. But what about those addictions that are not so obvious. Do you have a favorite food? A favorite song? Why do we choose one thing over another? Why do people choose differently?

On a purely physical realm it appears that our brains become stimulated in a certain way that we enjoy and therefore we are left with a memory that is pleasurably associated with a certain stimulus such as a sound or a taste or a sensation. Could this be the basis for addiction?

Since we are beings with an organic component, this makes complete sense. Once an impression is made on us it is either postivive or negative and we have a ‘feeling’ that goes with that. Being creatures that enjoy pleasure over pain we naturally seek to relive positive experiences and avoid negative ones.

Therefore, if we had an experience that triggered a negative feeling, such as the taste of garlic, then we may forever hate the taste of garlic. Yet, someone else’s early experience or experiences with garlic may have been quite pleasurable. Therefore, they actually enjoy the taste and smell of garlic even to the point that they always use it or cook with it.

Being similar in our organic components, how can such divergent reactions occur?
The only differential seems to be the original experience itself and how we reacted to it. That experience and reaction creates a record in our brains. This must be how two different brains can have such different reactions to the same substance or experience.

Then are we at the mercy of our first experience in regards to any particular stimuli?
Yes, if we don’t do anything about it. However, if we really exert our will, we should be able to change our reaction to virtually anything.

Therefore, through exertion of willpower an addiction, any addiction, should be defeatable. Of course, things are not necessarily that simple in the real world. But in principle and in my opinion, it seems to be this way.

Otherwise, we would simply be robots at the mercy of these addictions that exist to varying degrees. I think most people would agree that is not the case. Also, it would contradict the gift of freewill that I believe we all have been granted. There are some things that we don’t get to choose in this life yet there are many things that we may exert our personal choice over. I believe that addiction is one of those things we can choose not to have. Maybe it takes hard work to beat an addiction but I think we do have an option in this regard.

If I’m correct, then the most important component to beating an addiction is the willingness to do so, coupled by the intensity of the desire to beat the addiction. It seems certain that the person must be willing at some level to be rid of an addiction in order for that freedom to occur.

As dentists have unique trends and ways of performing things, a dental assistant should get introduced with those so he can do his job better, quicker and with more comfortableness.

Some of the tasks that a dental assistant does may include sterilizing and preparing the dental equipment and instruments that the dentist will be using for each procedure. Tasks such as taking dental x rays, maintaining the patient’s mouth dry by using suctions and other devices, while helping the dentist with other related tasks while an operation is being done. There may also be office tasks assigned to him like maintenance of the patients’ dental records, taking charge of the bills, scheduling and confirming patient’s appointments.

A dental assistant shouldn’t be confused with a dental hygienist that is licensed to perform lots of dental clinical tasks. Although there may be some cases that the job of a hygienist is sometimes confused with what the dentist does, they are each different. Different licensure is needed for different professions. Although a dental assistant requires a shorter period of education compared to a dental hygienist and dentist, the fact is that progressively number of dentists are now searching for assistants to help them with their everyday jobs. Thus, it is now an in demand and a well paying job that every dental assistant wannabees will look forward too.

If you want to pursue being a dental assistant, then you can take courses which are health associated, or maybe chemistry, biology, and the like. The good thing here is that when you already have experience as a dental assistant, you can take additional educational programs to make a step forward to become a dental hygienist, or even a dentist if you so desire. What you should always remember is that nothing can stop you from dreaming and aiming higher. The fact that you are already a dental assistant is something that you should already be glad for not just for the reason that you are paid well, but because you are able to help others. This is very rewarding to know.
