Microneedling
Until recently Microneedling was quite costly and needed you to visit a specialist; however Micro Needling is now common factor of daily life in most average house holds. The skin roller is a easy to use device with many sterilized microscopic needles which, {as they are rolled over the epidermis}, carefull separate the pores of the top layer of skin and start the healing process increasing the production of collagen and elastin.
Collagen is essential for skin to heal
It is this extra collagen and elastin that makes all the difference, the primary source of the compilation of skin conditions such as stretch marks and scars is a lack of collagen and elastin in the skin, when this is replaced the skin returns to a smooth state. When an injury occurs, such as a cut, the skin repairs itself to remain healthy; but unfortunately the skin doesn’t cosmetically heal.
In order to remove striae, scarring and face wrikles, it is impotant for the skin to have reason to restart healing itself producing more collagen and elastin, micro needling achieves this by gently seperating the pores of the epidermis giving the illusion of a trauma on the skin and needing to be repaired. Repeating the process of Micro Needling will make sure that you skin heals itself to a cosmetic level.
Is Skin Needling the best option?
Compared to other therapies (and when done at home), Micro Needling is far economic and better then methods such as just using creams because the skin takes in only a tiny percentage of creams applied, however when applied within an hour of using the micro needling roller the creams are absorbed significantly better as the pores are open.
Microneedling is used to reduce a range of skin conditions; Stretch marks, Cellulite, Wrinkles, pitted skin, acne scars, surgery scars, scars, crow’s feet etc
